MISSION STATEMENT

To cultivate a vibrant hockey community in Bellingham, the Whatcom County Amateur Hockey Association embraces unity and clarity by aligning with the local Junior team, the Bellingham Blazers. As the Bellingham Jr Blazers, we aim to provide a seamless experience for families, effectively communicate our hockey programs, and offer a clear pathway for players to aspire to represent our city on the ice.

PURPOSE STATEMENT

The decision to transition our minor hockey association to the Bellingham Jr Blazers is rooted in our commitment to strengthening the hockey community in Bellingham. By uniting under a single brand alongside the Bellingham Blazers, we reduce confusion for new families, streamline communication of our programs, and provide players with a clear long-term goal of representing their city as part of the Bellingham Blazers organization. Our new fresh look and shared logo symbolize our shared commitment to excellence and community in hockey.

A CALL TO CREATIVITY

We’re turning to our members and the public to help craft a new visual identity for our association and the Blazers. We invite everyone to submit their logo ideas until August 1st. Members from WCAHA and the Blazers will review all submissions and select 5 top concepts.
